A purely magical-mystical loge was founded in 1840 in Munich by some German rich industrialists and well situated citizens. This lodge existed until 1933. At all times only 99 persons of the male gender could belong to this esoteric working-group or secret lodge. This lodge basically never appeared in the open.

This lodge had nothing to do with regular Freemasonry. They didn’t have any actual degrees, ranks and levels of realisation. The advancement to apprentice, journeyman and master was only of symbolic character. All secrets were given during the initiation. The other “grades” were not ranks, but only temple-stones which were provided with a number and name. Their intention was demonological oriented i.e. they tried, in alliance with allegedly existing negative spiritual forces to obtain personal advantages, influence, power and money for their members. For this reason they placed themselves under mars-daimon “Barzabel”, the old bull-god Astaroth, Belial and Asmodi as lodge-daimon who took place number 100 in the lodge.

Similar to the Russian Roulette (also practised by the order of assassins which also existed at the turn of the century (19th to the 20th century) in Central Europe), every five years (if at that point of time no other lodge member had died) a balloting for ”death candidate” took place on the evening (June 23rd) before John’s day. This death candidate served as “lodge-sacrifice” for the services of the transcendental powers in which the lodge believed. The dead-candidate was determined by the draw of a lot or a ballot. In the later case there were 98 white balls and 1 black ball in the ballot box. Whoever drew the dead-lot became, according to the constitution of the order, property of the supposed lodge daimon, i.e. he had to consume deadly poison during the lodge meeting.

The Grandmaster of this organisation that was part of a truly “macabre” and supersaturated society had the authority to order the balloting three times if “fate” demanded him draw the black ball. The fortune and capital of the “sacrificed” member came into the treasury of the lodge. The lodge-seat, lodge-number and the serving imagospurius[1] were assigned to the new member who was to be initiated on the same day. Allegedly the lodge mastered in theory and practice almost all black-magical techniques. Every member was bound to the lodge-daimon by oaths, blood-rituals and mental-pacts. The most important rituals were taken from the works of ceremonial magic (see “Heptameron”, Waite: Ceremonial Magic, Stroessner-Bachhausen: “Freimaurerei und Magie” etc.). The following remarks are especially written for the Fratres of the lodge who intend to attain a higher degree in the lodge. It must be clear to them that a clearly defined spiritually attitude is required to which he must make up his mind without hesitation. Although according to the Law of the New Aeon: Do what thou wilt! – which also means, think and believe what thou wilt – nobody can be forced to obey these directives absolutely; but higher wisdom can only be acquired if one frees himself from the ballast of his previous religious believes which mostly are based only on suggestive traditions and can’t withstand proper criticism.

For the neophyte of the lodge, these instructions should only point the way for the time being. Any spiritual maturing takes its time.

The path which the esoterist, who serves the Demiurge Saturnus, has to walk, is without question a high path of realization, which is not easy to walk. It leads to very high peaks in the human capacity of realization to an almost total solitariness of his thinking, but it also frees him, and makes him immune to the many inhibitory suggestions which flood through the world. The acquisition of such peak attainments makes the spiritual human being no doubt very lonesome, but he will be very happy in his self chosen aloneness because in a spiritual sense he doesn’t need the indifferent humanity any more.

His previous education, his occult studies and his systematic development of his personality on a foundation of energetics, because of the observed principle of merciless love, made him at any rate, walk paths which were not in the valleys but away from the wide trodden roads. He became hard with himself, a lonesome human being, who decisively walks his path. The higher he climbs all the more his foot becomes confident and the depths of the abyss don’t frighten him anymore. He wears the robe of a priest of Saturn and he shrouds himself in silence towards the compact majority of the ignorant masses. The strong chain of brotherhood to which he belongs to is sufficient for him. Saturnian seriousness and the acquired ability of concentration, capability of critical observation and an acquired Uranian ability of intuition will make it possible for him to solve the problems which he encounters, and to solve them in his favour. More and more he will free himself from the restraining bonds that hinder his further spiritual progression.

The usual teachings of church and religion don’t mean anything to him anymore. For him there is no personal god, nor the doctrine of Christianity. Also, toward other religious teachings, like Buddhism and others, he became absolutely immune. His conception of god, based on a purely cosmosophic and cosmogonic world-view is sufficient for him.
The god-head as absolutum or zero-point energy, no matter what it is called, is for him an unattainable goal according to the present state of human evolution. His spiritual target-seeking is within our own solar-system and he is absolutely conscious of the limits of his evolution that are given to him thereby. Speculative fantasies he strictly rejects and he tries, even when solving most complicated problematic questions to remain on the ground of reality and to stay with a common sense an intellectual penetration of the problems. The higher levels and spheres he will reach by his higher polarized magical practices or through his meditative contemplations. – Any of the paths that he has to walk is feasible; each sphere is open to him, if his inmost will dominates. Within him lies the decicion, but also the responsibility of his own actions. He does not obey any suggestions or any requested distractions. He then becomes a master of the upper and the lower light. He compels the demons of the depths; and the angels of the mental sphere must serve him. – If then his development has progressed thus far, then he faces with a clear and fearless look the Guardian of the Threshold, and Saturn will open the dark door for his servant. Thus a spiritual human being, developed like this, will always consider himself a citizen of the world and knows no borders between peoples, race, and nations. The usual laws of morals and ethics exist for him only if he has to obey them by reason of prudence. As a trained magus he knows how to dissolve and to bind. Because of his realization and his training he will always do the right thing that serves him well. There is such a thing as holy egoism and an individual-anarchistic base is capable to form and create a lot of new things without destroying anything. The concept of loyalty to the brotherhood is immutable to him because he knows he has mortgaged his karma. He doesn’t fear the abyss anymore. He works one-pointedly towards his next incarnation to again work for the constantly progressing evolution of mankind. Therefore he serves the earth-spirit voluntarily and he works in this sense. Saturnian magic will give him the connecting lines, because he knows Earth and Moon are servants of Saturn.

This way he walks his lonesome path through the incarnations on this planet. He is happy with himself, but he feels deep joy in spiritual work and he will always work in the sense of a brotherhood of spiritual humanity. Real love and real friendship are of absolute value for him because he knows how rare they are. He will always try to adapt to the laws of harmony and he tries to develop those within himself in a higher octave, because he knows about the cosmic connection of his own ego.

Such a setting of goals and a developing of his humanity is all in the spirit of the ascending New Aeon in the Uranian-Saturnian light.

To be mature is everything! And it is a wonderful thing to be alone in freedom.

The practical application of such a spiritual crystallisation is so manifold and subjected to individual maturity and formation so we can hardly deal with it in details here. Each ego must walk his own path up to its end. But which path the human being chooses, how his masters his fate, that is up to his own discretion as far as the karmic laws allow it.

Esoteric’s talks about a mystical secret of the Sun and it sounds surprising at first when our lodge in its higher degrees, as an ultimate goal celebrates a Solar-Cult. Not only astrophysics teach that the inmost kernel of the Sun is lead in a higher aggregate state, but in initiated circles they talk about the twelve inner spheres of the sun or the twelve circles of realization of the Sun demiurge. In the third circle of the Sun, Saturn dominates. Therein lays the origin of the cosmic birth in which, during a powerful explosion he was thrown out together with the rest of the planetary chain. – This is the secret! He who serves Saturn practises a spiritual Solar-Cult and promotes the return of the Lost Son in the mystical sense.- Therefore our ritual says: “Saturn, you the Secret Brother of the Sun; You the veiled secret!”

This is why we recognize the universal sovereignty of the demiurge of Saturn because behind the Guardian of the Threshold stands salvation.

One could say a lot about this secret knowledge, but it can not be profaned. It remains the knowledge of the initiated lodges. – The ignorance of the usual occult and astrological circles is frightening. They denote Saturn as Satan and they don’t realize what kind of spiritual evidence of incapacity they issue to themselves. Knowledge and realization know no limits, but stupidity sets its own borders!

It can be assumed and it is probable, that during the future history of mankind in the coming millenniums a new religion for humanity will develop completely in the spirit of the Age of Aquarius. Humans in general need a religious impulse, they need a faith so that the demonic instincts, which slumber in almost any human being, can be kept in check. Of course this doesn’t apply to the spiritual upper class. Master Therion already said: “Three quarters of humanity is only manure for the spiritual dominating class.”
The Uranian impulse will bring about new religious dogmas, which will very likely bring a new Solar-Cult, in completely new forms close to nature and with cosmic connections, on the foundation of universal knowledge. The exploration of space has already begun even though the influence of the New Aeon has only begun to work recently. The cult of the corpse of Jesus on the cross can not withstand the new Uranian influxus. It will fade away as many other religions have faded away as we can learn from the history of humanity. We have to get used to think in almost time-less terms in these hypothetical contemplations. Millenniums don’t mean much in this comic based evolution, especially not in one human life span. Whole nations and their religions and cults have completely disappeared or belong to the remote antiquity, because the history of humanity and culture reaches much more into the past than science assumes and can prove so far. Huge continents have sunk with their cultures and religions, like Atlantis and Lemuria.
The great yearning of humanity for the divine, the incomprehensible, has always existed and produced many forms and expressions because they were not able to understand and comprehend the absolute. So the concept of god became personified and a world of the gods originated. But without the belief of the human beings the gods are only phantoms, because only their worship and visualisation form them. No doubt the star myths and star cults were the early base of all religions, which were still close to nature and it was reserved to Christianity, to bring the idea of personification to a centralised denominator of a personal and only god in today’s religious form.
The serious study of comparative religious history of all peoples of the earth yields such amazing outlooks, but also insights into the inadequacy of all religious teachings.
The Sun-Cults of the Atlanteans, the Persians, the original Aryans in India, and the Nature-Cults of the primitive peoples were in their religious content, in their dogmas and cults, much more valuable and anchored to the cosmos than today’s modern religions. Therefore we must find the way back, to the adoration of the Great Sun-Demiurge who is both Father and Mother for humanity.

Thereto, Saturn the Great Secret of the Sun assists us.

atumnu.jpg Les anciens écrits rabbiniques et l’étude de la KABBALE, comme les plus approfondis domaines de recherche en ce qui concerne la Sagesse, nous parlent du désir de l’Homme de connaitre, en le présentant dans la maniere d’un chemin toujours difficile par lequel on demande au néophyte le renoncement a la vie profane, le dépassement des essais initiatiques et la renaissance ultérieure a une existence imprégnée par de Sacralité. Commune a la plupart des croyances religieuses, la notion de Connaissance n’ était nulle part mieux expliquée et approfondie que dans la spiritualité hébraique, la seule d’ailleurs qui est reussi a développer un systeme philosophique comme celui de la KABBALE, l’incursion perpétuelle de celle ci, dans les arcannes des écrits saints – donc dans la Connaissance, continue de nous fasciner de nos jours.
On dit que les questions sont celles qui nous conduisent sur ce chemin vers la Connaissance : chaque question porte en elle meme le pépin de la Réponse, en étant ainsi d’une nature divine et en réalisant la liaison entre la connaissance superficielle humaine et la Connaissance Divine, donc entre l’Homme et Dieu. Un tel dialogue entre la créature et son Créateur se réalise dans chaque etre humain, mais seulement tres peu l’entendent et peu acceptent le commencement de la spiritualité pour obtenir la Connaissance: du mystere de sa création, le Dieu a inscrit dans l’âme humaine le désir de Persévérance et de Connaissance, le but de l’Homme étant de se perfectionner.
Meme s’il existe un grand nombre de philosophies qui revendiquent le droit de dire qu’elles peuvent conduire a la vraie perfection, une personne de bonne foi remarquerai facilement le fait que ces philosophies tendent a se cramponner sur l’existence d’un seul personnage, en général humain, et qui en son temps a été considéré par la majorité des gens comme étant plus ou moins une sorte de législateur. Les conséquences de ces différentes élections des “représentants” religieux a déterminé, finalement, un certain renoncement au but primordial et qui aurait du rester universel, celui de la persévérance et de la connaissance, ceci par l’erreur qui a été d’opposer les différentes philosophies religieuses, dans une lutte pour la reconnaissance de la supériorité de l’une d’entre elle.
Malgré cette situation, celui qui desire pourtant cette voie de la persévérance, a l’occasion, plus aujourd’hui que dans le passé, d’éprouver sa conduite morale et sa recherche de la Vérité en fréquentant la plus ancienne et renommée, bien que extremement mystérieuse société discrete, nommée la Franc-maçonnerie.

Tres peu connue par la majorité de gens, contestée par ceux qui ne peuvent pas l’entendre mais appréciée par ceux qui ont un esprit éclairé, la Maçonnerie représente la plus ancienne et authentique “école de la sagesse et du perfectionnement” dans laquelle se sont fait remarqués, dans le temps, beaucoup de personnalités appartenant a des domaines plus varies : en commençant avec le légendaire roi Salomon et avec le Grand Maitre Hiram Abiff, nomme aussi “le Fils de la Veuve”, qui ont réalise le grandiose Temple consacre au Jahvé, en continuant avec les maitres maçons qui ont élevés pendant la période du Moyen Age les merveilleuses cathédrales avec des cryptes possédant une variété de symboles a déchiffrer, on reste reveur aujourd’hui, de la renommé de compositeurs comme Mozart, qui a glorifie l’Art Royal dans son ouvre ” La Flute Enchantée “, ainsi que celle des hommes politiques comme Washington, le but de ceux-ci a été d’ éclairer et d’ élever : la croyance que chaque acte humain doit etre sous les auspices du Grand Architecte de l’Univers et que les plus nobles actions ont comme but la construction du Temple spirituel de l’Humanité, d’une société dans la quelle les gens prendront conscience de leur sacralité.
Pour les esprits éclairés il parait évidant que le monde soit divisé en quelques catégories bien définies : premierement, il ya les ignorants, qui ne veulent rien savoir et qui ne sont intéressés que par leur quotidien ; il y a ceux qui ayant un côté plus négatif ou vulnérable dans leur personnalité, échouent dans leur démarche vers le perfectionnement, prétextant que c’est la faute d’un certain systeme philosophique plus subit que choisis et en profitant pour le représenter d’une maniere négative qui nous renvois plutôt a la Théorie du Complot … Enfin, une troisieme catégorie, tres restreinte, appartient a ceux qui consacrent leurs vies a l’Art Royal, menés par le désir d’etres associés au trésor d’une intarissable sagesse et pour cela d’appliquer la morale et les vertus que la Franc-maçonnerie, par allégorie et symbole, détient.

Nous nous arretons sur deux catégories seulement : celle des freres qui travaillent sous les auspices de Grand Architecte dans la loge maçonnique et celle de ceux qui restent seulement dans la société profane, a l’extérieur du Temple. Nous pourrons observer et commenter sur les différences, en observant si elles sont positives ou négatives, mais on analysera aussi les points communs.
Une premiere différence qui s’observe entre une loge maçonnique du R :. E :. A :. A :. et une association profane est la modalité dans la quelle leurs membres se reportent au Divin et le rôle qu’ils tendent de lui accorder dans le contexte de leur existences. Dans le cas de la loge maçonnique le rapport est évident : ainsi, aucun travail ne peut commencer si, sur l’autel de l’atelier, il n’y a pas une Bible ; elle doit etre toujours ouverte a l’Evangile de Saint Jean, le patron de l’Ordre Maçonnique : “Au début il y a la Parole, et la Parole était avec Dieu, et la Parole était Dieu”. Cette tres puissante liaison entre la Maçonnerie et le Grand Architecte avec qui ils travaillent sont consacrées est évidentes aussi par le rangement sur les pages de la Sainte Ecriture des symboles de cet ordre, l’Equerre et le Compas, leur bras en étant croisés différemment en fonction du degré pour lequel les travaux sont accomplies : Apprenti, Compagnon ou Maitre Maçon. Tout est réalisé a la Gloire du Grand Architecte de l’Univers.

Dans le cas des associations profanes, elle est évidement la tendance a renoncer a n’importe quelles formules ou signes qui fasse allusion a la relation de l’homme avec le divin, dans le désir d’éviter le plus possibles des conflits religieux. Cet aspect n’existe pas dans la Franc-maçonnerie, ou s’il y a des freres d’autre religion, le Livre Saint de cette confession, le Coran ou le Talmud, sera placé sur l’autel a côté de la Bible.
Une autre différence peut etre observée en ce qui concerne les relations qui s’établissent entre les membres de ces associations. Dans la loge maçonnique du R :. E :. A :. A :. il est toujours promu l’entente, l’aide fraternel et l’estime. Entre eux, les freres s’adressent avec l’appellatif “frere” ou “sour”, ce qui n’est jamais pratiqué dans la société profane. Ainsi, le but de la Franc-maçonnerie est de renoncer aux “murs” qui s’établissent entre les personnes de différentes catégories sociales, pour devenir des freres sur le chemin difficile vers le Perfectionnement.

En meme temps, la Franc-maçonnerie se fait remarquée par l’ordre qui regne dans ses loges et qui n’est jamais transgressé : en opposition avec la société profane, ici personne ne peux interrompre le frere qui parle, mais attendre qu’il finisse ce qu’il veut dire, en utilisant la formule finale “J’ai dit” et en donnant le signe par lequel il fait allusion a la terrible peine de mort en cas d’une trahison – puis il a le droit d’exprimer son opinion. S’il est nécessaire, on peut recourir a un vote par lever la main, en fonction du choix de chacun. Quelle différence face a la société profane dans la quelle on s’invective et on utilise des mauvais mots pour exprimer notre opinion !
Un autre fait qui fascine les profanes et qui a ses origines dans l’antiquité, est le moment ou l’on prete serment pour éviter les mauvaises intentions ou les trahisons : ainsi, le franc-maçon devient conscient de l’importance de son travail pour sa loge et sera plus digne dans sa conduite. En ce cas on peut dire qu’il y a une certaine ressemblance avec la société profane, dans le sens que l’on peut aussi quelques fois demander de preter serment —- la différence est que la Franc-maçonnerie rappelle symboliquement les peines méritées en cas de trahison.
Aussi, admirablement dans le cas de la Franc-maçonnerie est le fait que toutes les problemes qui surviennent dans l’Ordre Maçonnique : reste en son sein, en évitant le mélange malveillant et incorrect de la société profane. En ce qui concerne la Maçonnerie du R :. E :. A :. A :. les décisions sont justes, ce qu’on ne peut pas dire dans le cas des tribunaux profanes.

Dans la loge maçonnique la ponctualité est exigée, trois absences non justifiées entrainent l’exclusion de l’Ordre. Dans une société profane des mécontentements peuvent survenir, mais il n’existe pas de regle dans ce sens. Il est évident le fait qu’on ne peut pas renoncer a l’imperfection dans notre conduite (le symbole de la pierre brute qui, sous la main d’apprentice et puis du compagnon, devient la pierre polie) s’il n’existe pas une parfaite organisation en plan profane.
Pour ses rituels, la Maçonnerie a élaboré des merveilleuses cérémonies pour célébrer les plus important moments de la vie : le bapteme maçonnique, le mariage maçonnique, l’installation et conférer des attributions pour les officiers de la loge et le rituel funéraire. Les profanes sont toujours étonnés par le mystere de ce symbolisme sacré des rituels. La plus évidente différence est en ce qui concerne le rituel funeraire, la Maçonnerie en étant la seule qui réussisse présenter le statut solennelle du frere qui, en finissant son “voyage initiatique” trouvera son place a l’Orient Eternel, le Dehbir.
Ce qui manque aux associations profanes se sont aussi les habits pour représenter honorifiquement leur travail. Dans ce sens, les franc maçons portent les Regalies, composées par des merveilleux tabliers et sautoirs décorés avec un riche symbolisme différent pour chaque degré, des gants blancs pour rappeler que les freres ne sont pas coupables pour la mort du Hiram Abiff et qui sont reçu apres l’initiation, aussi comme par des quelques bijoux comme l’Equerre en or attache au collier du degré du Maitre Macon.
La Franc-maçonnerie, en se rapportant a l’Univers et au Spirituel, a des obligations, pendant le temps annuel, le Solstice d’Eté et d’Hiver, dans une merveilleuse maniere associe aux patrons spirituels de l’Ordre Maçonnique : ainsi, au Solstice d’Eté correspond en meme temps la fete du Saint Jean-Baptiste et au Solstice d’Hiver correspond la fete de Saint Jean l’Évangéliste, le saint patron des franc mâcons.
On ne verra jamais dans aucune société profane célébré ou meme représenté par des symboles ces deux moments primordiaux de l’année.

Enfin, l’un des plus évidentes différences est représentée par la discrétion caractéristique des franc mâcons : ils ne se ventent jamais avec leur appartenance, en étant, premierement, intéressés de persévérer vers le chemin difficile qu’ils sont mit en route. Avec l’exception des personnalités comme Mozart, Goethe ou Washington ( les premiers 5 presidents d’ Amerique en fait ), qui ont été connus comme franc-maçon, la plupart des freres gardent leur statut cache face aux yeux du monde profane.
Que peu il est dit dans ces lignes et pourtant combien de la morale on peut extraire ! Des esprits éclairés, préoccupés par le bien de la société, qui se rapportent et qui consacrent leur ouvre a la Gloire du Grand Architecte de l’Univers et qui désirent en meme temps de garder leurs choix discret, les franc mâcons transmettent, par allégorie et symbole, des percepts moraux presque oubliés par le monde profane et a coup sur ignorés.

Pour pouvoir nous sentir etre humain il est nécessaire d’entendre la sacralité dont nous sommes dotés et de devenir associes d’un tel trésor de sagesse comme est la Franc-maçonnerie du R :. E :. A :. A:.

freemason_m1121864.jpgPutin cunoscuta si rareori inteleasa de majoritatea profanilor, Francmasoneria ofera o imagine total diferita asupra Lumii si Cunoasterii, cu preponderenta credintei ca Omul, ca opera a Divinitatii insasi, pastreaza in sine atributele acesteia, scopul primordial fiind ca fiecare sa devina constient de divinitatea sa proprie.

Evident ca o intrebare poate surveni : cum poate o fiinta umana sa manifeste aceasta sacralitate intr-un mediu care de cele mai multe ori, atat prin materie cat si prin mentalitate, tinde sa ramana la o profanitate excesiva ? Raspunde aici insasi Masoneria, care, ca o scoala de intelepciune, isi are izvoarele in mistica iudaica : Divinitatea, in excesiva Sa bunatate, creeaza prin intermediul celor 22 de semne ale Alef-Beth-ului intreaga Materie, deloc profana initial. Insusi actul Creatiei este ceva divin, caci nimeni altcineva decat Marele Arhitect, inzestrat cu intreaga cunoastere a masurii lucrurilor, nu ar putea indeplini atat de perfect aceasta Arta Regala.

Ceea ce putem remarca este, in primul rand, faptul ca Lumea este creata din Imaterial, din semne, deci din Cuvant. Prin natura lor, cuvintele iudaice cultiva acelasi primordial ritual al Creatiei : lipsind vocalele, se doreste intuirea respectivului cuvant si detasarea de orice influenta lumeasca, deci o alta creatie la randul ei. Astfel, sacralitatea va fi concentrata, atat in cazul Francmasoneriei cat si al iudaismului, in cladirea in care se desfasoara lucrarile ( Loja si Sinagoga ) si in scrieri ( Cartea Sfanta si sulurile de Tora ).
In cadrul invataturilor si imaginilor masonice, fiecare membru sau admirator al Ordinului a avut cu siguranta ocazia sa vada imaginea Fiului reprezentand Lumea ca fiind delimitata cu un compas de aur …. Deosebita imagine care face aluzie la imaterialitatea primordiala din care a fost creata, intocmai precum Compasul simbolizeaza imaginatia creatoare care, in gradul Maestrului Mason, va invinge conditia materiala a Echerului.
Cine a fost insa constient de faptul ca Spiritul trebuie sa triumfe asupra Materiei ? Desi o incursiune in acest domeniu se poate face incepand chiar cu Egiptul Antic, cel mai relevant este sa se puna accent pe perioada Evului Mediu Intunecat, momentul de glorie al Masoneriei Operative. Invatatura masonica, atat de complicata si incalcita pentru ochii celor care o privesc dinafara, nefiind cu nimic implicati, se impleteste pe parcursul istoriei cu arta de a construi impresionante catedrale. Edificii dedicate glorificarii Divinitatii, au fost inzestrate de zidari cu posibilitatea de a transmite prin simboluri incriptate invataturi misterioase despre nemurirea sufletului, Ierarhia Universala si virtuti.

Un deosebit gest, acela al Masoneriei, care aduce in lojile sale uneltele si simbolurile de zidarie, oferind in acelasi timp invatatura sa despre morala prin alegorie catedralelor, indirect astfel tuturor credinciosilor. Masonii operativi au intuit ca daca principiile lor vor trece dincolo de breasla, singurii care vor putea sa le descifreze si sa le inteleaga sunt persoanele inclinate spre intelegerea artei si spre studiu. Prin urmare, mai ales in cadrul breslei se cultiva aceasta deosebita inclinatie spre domeniul spiritualului : zidarii urmau astfel o lunga perioada de studiu a arhitecturii si simbolisticii in acelasi timp; pentru ei era imposibil de imaginat o arhitectura care sa nu transmita nimic moral omenirii, cultivand doar formele stilului gotic.
Unul din cele mai conclodente exemple arhitecturale in care putem remarca schimbul dintre invatatura si simbolistica masonica si cea religioasa crestina este binecunoscuta forma a rozalei gotice. Atat de migaloasa, rozala are insa la baza un simbol masonic foarte interesant, prezentat sub forma geometrica a unui punct oarecare, ca centru al unui cerc si marginite de doua linii paralele. Deosebita semnificatie religioasa care impresioneaza prin bogatia sa spirituala.

Astfel, prin bogatia interpretarilor sale, Ordinul a dat posibilitatea reprezentarii Universului si chiar a ierarhiei masonice, prin aluzia la cei doi sfinti patroni spirituali ai Masoneriei.
Prin urmare, in simbol, Francmasoneria prezinta importanta Demiurgului, deci a Sacrului, in desfasurarea lucrarilor din loji. Marele Arhitect este centrul oricarei actiuni sau gest savarsite in loja, prin urmare si scopul ultim spre care se tinde. Prin Punctul initial se simbolizeaza Unitatea, din care ia nastere orice forma de manifestare in Materie a Vointei. In acelasi timp se face aluzie la Increat, figura preferata a alchimistilor, masonii intuind atributele acestuia, precum Vesnicia, ca fiind sinonime Arhitectului, au asimilat acest simbol atribuindu-l Demiurgului. In fine, totul se supune Ordinii instaurate de Divinitate.
Cercul este una din cele mai apreciate figuri geometrice in Antichitate. Simbolizeaza Perfectiunea prin faptul ca pastreaza mereu aceeasi distanta fata de Centru. Prin simplitatea liniei este sinonim Unitatii, am putea spune a Universului bine determinat.
Nu are nici inceput si nici sfarsit, stiindu-se ca in domeniul imaterialului timpul isi pierde valoarea data de perenitatea materiala.

Extraordinar de importante sunt cele doua linii care delimiteaza figura cercului si a centrului sau; in cadrul ierarhiei francmasonice, ele sunt o alegorie mascata ochilor profanilor : doi sfinti patroni ai ordinului sunt desemnati din cele mai vechi timpuri ale crestinismului sa ii influenteze destinele. In stanga putem intui o aluzie la Sfantul Ioan Botezatorul, cel care in credinta crestina a anuntat venirea unui Mantuitor. Nici faptul ca a fost asezat in stanga cercului nu este aleatoriu : precum prima litera a Cuvantului este scrisa incepand din stanga, tot asa se poate observa faptul ca prin natura ei, Masoneria are un caracter “inaintemergator” lumii obisnuite, prin sacralitatea la care invataturile ei fac aluzie. In acelasi timp este si simbolul Solstitiului de Iarna, moment deosebit de important prin numarul orelor de lumina si intuneric : in prima faza, Lumina pare a fi cuprinsa de Intuneric, ceea ce va fi insa anulat de urmatoarea reprezentare.
A doua linie situata in dreapta cercului este un simbol al altui patron spiritual al acestui ordin, Ioan Evanghelistul. Prin Evanghelie ( “Vestea cea Buna” ) se aminteste sacralitatea Cartii care este intotdeauna asezata pe altarul lojei si fara de care lucrarile nu pot incepe. Ca moment astronomic este reprezentat Solstitiul de Vara, in final inlaturandu-se “teama” ca Lumina ar putea fi invinsa de Intuneric, deci ca un suflet sacru ar putea fi depasit de profanitate. Insasi Evanghelia mentioneaza faptul ca “Lumina lumineaza in Intuneric, iar Intunericul nu a cuprins-o.”
Cu toate acestea, Francmasoneria dezvolta o ramura proprie a simbolisticii religioase, pe care o va imprima ritualurilor sale, reusind astfel sa detina o cunoastere de sine statatoare si chiar mai ramificata la o privire mai atenta decat cea a crestinismului, pe care chiar il completeaza. Ma refer aici la minunata ceremonie de initiere in gradul al treilea, cel al Maestrului Mason, in care candidatul, urmare a invataturii acumulate si a probelor la care este supus, isi depaseste conditia de muritor si renaste prin spiritul sau luminat; revine aici imaginea Compasului care, in acest grad, este asezat peste Echer, pe Cartea Sacra de pe Altar. Figura reprezentativa pentru aceasta trecere este marele maestru Hiram Abiff, supranumit si “Fiul Vaduvei”, cel care a condus lucrarile de constructie ale Templului lui Solomon.
Tragicul se impleteste in loja masonica cu inaltatoarea ceremonie de initiere : urmare a apropierii terminarii constructiei, trei calfe care nu fusesera avansate la gradul de Maestru ( Jubela, Jubelo, Jubelum ), simbolul Ignorantei, Geloziei si Instinctului, il vor ucide pe Hiram cu ustensilele de zidarie ( rigla, compasul si ciocanul ). Francmasoneria a asociat cele trei momente in care Maestrul ( si candidatul in loja ) cade sub loviturile calfelor, cu principalele momente ale calatoriei Soarelui pe cer in timpul unei zile.
In fine, intreaga finalitate a destinului lui Hiram Abiff, implicit a candidatului, este amintita in sacralitatea actului de creatie : astfel, moartea poate doar sa innobileze conditia creatorului, oferind posibilitatea infruntarii lasitatii si a mediocritatii.
Demersul in studierea influentei pe care Demiurgul o are asupra simbolisticii si ritualurilor Francmasoneriei este o foarte buna posibilitate pentru fiecare membru de a cunoaste mai bine bogata spiritualitate a ordinului din care are cinstea de a face parte si de a-si conduce viata dupa moralitatea acestuia.

Intentionez sa duc acest blog pe fagasul discutiilor despre arcanizarea oculta intreprinsa inca de variatele loji discrete sau secrete si raportarea ei actuala la ceea ce numit “Lumea Profana” … Evident subiectele principale vor fi societatile precum Fraternitas Saturni, gruparile masonice regulare (lojile nationale) si iregulare (Marile Oriente) si Ordinul Francmasonic al Carbonarilor.

Evident e nevoie de afirmatii pertinente pentru a obtine ceva de calitate si care sa merite citit, asa ca banuiesc ca interesul nu va lipsi, mai ales din partea celor cu vederi nu atat de inguste cum prea des intalnim in societatea actuala.
